During the visit, students shared how authentic STEM experiences — spanning design thinking, prototyping, and drone activities — have shaped their learning journey.
Through these hands-on experiences, students develop key competencies including communication, adaptive thinking, and inventive thinking, nurturing them into confident learners. The delegates saw how the ALP empowers students to design inclusive solutions, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to future-ready communities.

Sharing about our Applied Learning Programme with ASEAN delegates helped me grow in confidence and become a better speaker. Their thoughtful questions pushed me to exercise adaptive and critical thinking on the spot. This experience taught me to be more resilient, open-minded, and confident when sharing my ideas.— Lim Ji Yi (2B)
This experience gave me greater confidence. Seeing the delegates show genuine interest in our projects and eagerly ask questions motivated me to explain our ideas in greater depth. They understood our design process and were surprised that we were able to create solutions that met the needs of different users. The best part was being able to confidently express my thoughts and share what we had learnt through this project. Knowing that the delegates appreciated our work made me feel proud of what we had achieved, and strengthened my pride in our school.— Yap Jun He Brayden (2C)
