By being thoughtful contributors in our schools and active citizens in our communities, we can draw on our collective spirit to overcome these modern challenges.

Commanding the National Day Parade was an incredible experience that taught me that leadership is about staying calm under pressure, projecting confidence and maintaining discipline. Managing the parade successfully required close collaboration with the other commanders to synchronise our marching. I am truly grateful for this memorable opportunity to grow as a leader.— SGT(NPCC) Briny Lim En - NDP Parade Commander
As the contingent Commander for my school’s Red Cross Youth, I learnt to further develop my leadership skills not only by leading my contingent, but also by giving clearer instructions to my batchmates and juniors. It also taught me that in Red Cross Youth, we should not just care for ourselves, but also care for the people we lead.— Xenon Chew Yong Jun (3G)
