The Minister's visit was an opportunity I am truly grateful for, from helping to plan the engagement to personally teaching Minister Lee how to fly drones. I found the entire experience rewarding — getting the chance to meet and speak with him is something most students rarely get to do. Being able to share about NCC's range of activities and our Tier 2 ALP with someone of his calibre was a proud moment, not just for me but for my peers as well. Despite being extremely nervous at the start, it was a worthwhile and meaningful experience, and I am thankful that ZSS gave me this opportunity to grow as a leader.

The Minister's visit was the most unexpected highlight of my student leadership journey. Having embarked on the Sigma Bloomz project the year before, I would never have thought I would be able to present our sustainability efforts to the Minister for Education, Mr Desmond Lee. Though the preparations took long hours and many rounds of trial and error, it is definitely an experience to be cherished. Through this, I learnt how to carry myself during presentations and communicate in a way that was clear and engaging. Moving forward, I hope to continue spreading the love for this sustainability project far beyond Zhenghua, and let everyone enjoy the joy of going green.

The experience was meaningful and memorable — I had the privilege of teaching the Minister how to fly a drone. At first, I was nervous about instructing someone of such importance, but as I walked him through the controls step by step, my confidence grew. It was a unique opportunity, and I was glad to have had the chance to speak with him as well. Through this, I learnt that teaching requires both patience and confidence.
