Camp Synergy - 2026 Secondary One Orientation Camp
From January 7 to 9, our school welcomed our newest batch of Secondary 1 students with open arms during our highly anticipated orientation programme, Camp Synergy. The name of the camp was chosen with a clear and powerful purpose: to mark a fresh beginning as they learn to embrace challenges and work together to become bigger than themselves. Ultimately, the concept of "Synergy" reflects the core objective of fostering a strong sense of class unity and teamwork through collaboration and shared experiences.
The undisputed highlight of the orientation was our spectacular campfire on 9 January. As our first campfire in three years, it served as a brilliant camp finale.
We are incredibly proud of our incoming cohort and our tireless student leaders.

The camp helped us feel more comfortable in my new school as we got to know our seniors and teachers better. We were really nervous about coming to Zhenghua as we thought everyone would be intimidating as they were older than us. The orientation camp helped me grow as a student leader by building my confidence, strengthening my teamwork, and deepening my sense of responsibility. Despite the challenges we faced, the camp strengthened the bonds among Sec 1 students, helping them connect with their peers, feel a sense of belonging to the school, and start the year on a positive note.
