The 2026 Chinese New Year celebration was filled with joy and festive spirit, as parents joined us for a lively concert. A thrilling lion dance and a mesmerizing face-changing performance captivated the audience, alongside vibrant classroom decorations and energetic performances by teachers and students.

I really enjoyed the Chinese New Year performance. Being the emcee was really exciting and delightful for me. I really enjoyed emceeing the quiz, as it allowed me to showcase my stage skills and presence while managing a crowd of over 1,000 students. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I hope to take part in similar events and more in the future.— Jaedon Koh Shao Ze (3A)
Serving as an emcee for this year’s Chinese New Year celebration was a meaningful and eye-opening first experience. I truly realized the effort required for a school event and felt grateful for a team that allowed us to bond and work together. Through constant practice, I learned the value of perseverance. Though I was nervous at first, I grew more confident during the event, learning to adapt and strengthening my public communication skills.— Low Jia Xuan Destinee (2B)
Chua Yee Kit (3G)
