Awards Day 2026 celebrated the theme "STEER Forward – Celebrating Leadership at Every Level," honouring students and staff who embodied the school's STEER values through their achievements and contributions.

The event was made meaningful and memorable through inspiring performances by the Dance Club and Concert Band, a special Pinnacle Awardees Showcase featuring recipients' reflections, and a heartwarming video montage that captured the spirit of the occasion.
My experience as an Awards Day emcee was very fulfilling. I was nervous during rehearsals and even a few hours before the ceremony, but as I became more familiar with the script and rehearsed with my fellow emcees, I grew more confident. I was also given the opportunity to emcee both the morning and afternoon sessions, which made the experience even more memorable. One challenge I faced was maintaining my energy and confidence throughout both sessions, but I learnt to stay calm and keep going. This experience helped me improve my public speaking, confidence and ability to work with others, and it also taught me to go for opportunities I enjoy and step out of my comfort zone.
