Programmes Highlights and Enrichment Activities

The Mathematics Department is committed to cultivating analytical minds and a love for learning through engaging, meaningful experiences. Kicking off the year, our Secondary 1 students went on an exciting interdisciplinary learning journey to Marina Barrage as part of the Ziesta programme. In collaboration with the Humanities Department, the trip brought mathematical concepts to life while exploring Singapore’s water story. Using their Personal Learning Devices (PLDs), students connected classroom learning with real-world experiences in a fun way.

Our Secondary 4 students rose to the challenge in the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad (Senior Category), tackling complex problems and sharpening their analytical skills.

Through the Mathematics Peer Tutoring Programme, student tutors supported their peers, building confidence and teamwork. Across Secondary 1 to 3, Mathematical Modelling Projects encouraged students to solve real-world challenges creatively, making Mathematics engaging, relevant and full of discovery.
