Overseas Trips
Trip for International Experience (TIE)
Learning Beyond BordersZhenghua Secondary School's annual overseas learning programme, the Trip for International Experience (TIE), offers students purposeful exposure beyond Singapore. Each TIE trip is thoughtfully crafted to blend curriculum learning with cultural immersion. This allows students to apply their classroom knowledge in authentic contexts, thereby fostering global awareness and developing essential 21st Century Competencies. Through the overseas experiences, students deepen their understanding of different cultures, build confidence in engaging with the wider world, and reflect on Singapore’s role both regionally and globally.
Purposeful Overseas Learning JourneysEach year, the school offers three TIE overseas trips, planned intentionally to support different learning domains. While all trips emphasise cultural immersion, each is anchored in distinct disciplinary learning goals, ensuring coherence and progression across the programme. The three annual TIE trips are: ● Brunei – Cultural
Immersion with Mathematics and English Language
