The National Cadet Corps (Air) offers students a unique opportunity to experience military-style training with a strong emphasis on aeronautics and aviation. Supported by the SAF and RSAF, cadets participate in specialised courses such as marksmanship training, flight simulations, and knowledge-building sessions on the RSAF's operations. They also get exclusive access to military bases and attachments, allowing them to observe different vocations up close.
In recent years, the unit has developed a strong focus on drone training. Cadets gain hands-on experience in drone piloting and drone soccer—a rapidly growing competitive sport—equipping them with practical skills in a future-relevant domain. Through these activities, cadets develop discipline, leadership, and technical proficiency, preparing them for challenges both in and beyond uniformed group settings.
