Leave of Absence (LOA) Scheme
Apply for the LOA scheme to keep your child's school place while you are posted overseas. Eligible SC and PR students may rejoin their school upon returning to Singapore.
The Leave of Absence (LOA) scheme is to enable Singapore Citizen (SC) and Permanent Resident (PR) students accompanying their parents on overseas postings to retain their existing school places and to rejoin the school after returning to Singapore.
Eligibility
To be granted LOA, student must fulfil all 3 of the following criteria:
An SC or PR.
Presently studying in a Singapore school.
Accompanying you on an overseas posting with the intention of rejoining their school after returning to Singapore.
LOA Fee
The school will charge an annual nominal fee of $240 for a child on LOA.
